Hello!
I'm Bec, full-time graphic designer, occasional travel blogger.
I relish helping businesses and individuals make a smart and considered impression on the world.
My experience spans 20+ years and runs across events, marketing, branding, print, digital, social media, illustration and creative writing.
So, how can I help?
About
During my 20+ years in design, I have created visual solutions for almost everything from new brand identities, flagship publications, awards programs, incentive trips, international congresses, company conferences and large-scale events with the occasional party invite or wedding stationery project in between.
Clients I have worked with include Bristol Myers Squibb, Merck KGaA, Discover, Schlumberger, Santen, Sanofi, Mercedes-Benz, Rentokil Initial, Abbvie, Allergan, Chivas Brothers and Gilead among many others. I have extensive experience working in government agencies, with charities large and small, and aiding the side hustles of friends. Any chance to get creative is exciting and I give the same passion and effort to each and every project.

I started my career in the world of print and along the way I've branched into design management, social media marketing and website design before embracing a pandemic pivot to crafting and delivering virtual events for international audiences.
My work has spanned design for live, hybrid and virtual events including print and digital outputs, branding systems and marketing materials for charities, social media, creative writing, illustration and website design.

Since returning to Brisbane, I have joined the Queensland Reconstruction Authority as its sole graphic designer, and established Cheers, Bec, affording me a neat balance of sustainable creativity.

During my 5+ years with Touch Associates,
I worked with multi-national clients, providing intelligent design solutions for print, digital and virtual execution.

Core projects revolved around helping clients share their message at events such as global forums, international congresses, company days, product launches, awards programs and incentive trips.
Whether live or virtual, my work centred on bringing the key messages to life within engaging experiences for attendees.

Countless projects serving the public
As a designer and design manager during my long career in the public sector, I worked in departments focused on the economy, business, trade and industry development. And I survived three Premiers.

I've produced innumerable pieces for a range of business and policy units from advertising, business start-up kits, magazines, public information materials, annual reports, prospectus documents, awards programs and events, exhibitions, conference items, brochures and flyers...basically, you name it, I did it. I weathered two logo changes and helped implement five department re-brands.

I'm now back in the public sector at the Queensland Reconstruction Authority.

Educating children to be reptile friendly
Using my skills for good I teamed up with WWF and project illustrators to design an education kit for primary school children to learn more about the importance of habitat and the welfare of native lizards...not an easy task when they aren't as cute as koalas.
